Intro Nowadays, computers are everywhere. Everyone must know at least the basic things about these instruments of the modern man, and everyone should know how to do basic stuff on a computer.
This tutorial series is aimed to explain the basic things, as easy to understand as possible. Aside from the explanations and story-telling, these tutorials will also feature some practical tutorials(for example: how to write a cd/dvd). What parts does a computer have?a. Computer case
b. Power Supply Unit (PSU) c. Motherboard d. RAM e. GPU (graphic processing unit) f. CPU (central processing unit) g. Audio card h. Screen i. HDD ( hard disk drive) and/or SSD (solid state drive) Note: Some newer devices have these so called APU's. To put it simply: e + f = APU ( Advanced Processing Unit) - a combination of the traditional CPU and GPU inside the same chip, with the purpouse to improve the data transfer between the two components. An APU also offers reduced power consuption. These are the basic components, that every computer system have. Apart from these, there are the peripherals: - the mouse - the keyboard - the webcam - the speakers - the printer - the scanner - and so on...you get the point.
